Eveleigh-EPM 13744
HIGHLIGHTS
- Target is intrusive related large scale tonnage Kidston
style deposit.
- Identified gold mineralisation associated with quartz
sericite rocks.
- Metal minerals associations at the Kelly’s End prospect
are similar to Kidston style gold deposits.
- QGM proposes to carry out BLEG and pan concentrate stream
sediment sampling of previously unsampled areas, and geochemical
soil and rock sampling, geological mapping and petrographic
studies on the Kelly’s End Prospect.
- This will be followed up by RC drilling on the Kelly’s End
prospect and/or a major epithermal vein.
Eveleigh contains small alluvial gold and tin deposits that
were mined in the past. Recent exploration has defined substantial
gold from initial surface sampling in an area where hydrothermally
altered rocks, extending over 3 km2, were previously tested for
tin and base metals. The alteration and metal signature indicate
an Intrusive-Related Gold System.
A 6 hole initial drilling programme was completed
earlier in the year with holes 3 & 6 in different alteration
zones on the property intersecting low grade gold mineralisation
over significant widths:-

Hole 6 |

The association of this mineralisation with elevated
levels of other related metallic elements gives a strong geochemical
signature to the alteration zones tested, and follow-up drilling is
planned.
